NFL Stars Mark Super Bowl XLVII Week with Showcase of Financial Football Video Game & Curriculum
On Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., NFL star quarterbacks Drew Brees and Russell Wilson will team-up with Louisiana State Treasurer John Neely Kennedy and Visa to introduce New Orleans students to an educational video game and classroom curriculum called Financial Football.
The centerpiece of Visa's nationwide educational initiative with the NFL and NFL PLAYERS, Financial Football helps students and adults tackle their financial futures. The game incorporates lessons taught through Practical Money Skills for Life (www.practicalmoneyskills.com), Visa's free, award-winning money management program. This game is accompanied by a classroom curriculum and has been distributed to every public middle and high school in thirty-five states, including Louisiana.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will join Treasurer John Kennedy and Visa to talk about the importance of financial literacy and to play the educational video game Financial Football with New Orleans students
As part of this event Brees, Wilson and Kennedy will coach the students in a high-energy game of Financial Football.
