Get Organized for Back-to-School Season
Discover great tips for an easier, more organized and more financially sound back-to-school season.
Transcript
The days when you could send your kids off to school with a just lunchbox and a hug are long gone. Today, you'll probably need to fill out piles of pre-enrollment paperwork.
Get organized. Keep a file with letters, emails and notes from your kid's school for things like registration, report cards, permission slips, vaccinations and school absence policies. Collect contact information for teachers and classmates' parents.
Also, create a family master calendar noting registration deadlines, school holidays, vacations, field trips, doctor's appointments, carpool schedules, teacher meetings, athletic and arts events, and parties.
Bottom line: Plan ahead for back-to-school season and you'll save time and aggravation.
